"Felt like my feedback got ignored"
I really wanted to like this, but the culling was way off for me. The AI ended up picking a bunch of blurry shots that I definitely wouldn’t have kept, so I had to go back and redo a lot of it myself. I also sent a message about the issue and felt like nobody actually read it.

"Honestly felt like more work than it saved"
I gave Aftershoot a try because I really thought it was going to cut down my editing time, but it ended up feeling like the opposite. I still had to go back through a ton of images myself, double-checking everything, so it didn’t really save me much time at all. If anything, it felt like I was wasting extra energy babysitting the process instead of just getting my work done. Maybe it clicks better for other people, but for me it was frustrating and not the workflow helper I was hoping for.

"Pretty easy once I got going"
I’m not the most techy person, but Aftershoot was easy to figure out. I think I got set up in like 10 minutes, or maybe it was closer to 20 because I got distracted, but either way it didn’t feel stressful. Uploading and sorting my photos was simple, and it definitely saved me from clicking around forever like I normally do.

"Processing speed is just okay"
so it does work, but I’ve noticed the processing can feel a bit slow sometimes. It’s not a dealbreaker, just something I wish was a little faster.

"Pretty good, but the Lightroom handoff drove me a little nuts"
Overall, it works fine and does what it’s supposed to, so I can’t complain too much. But the Lightroom handoff feels weirdly clunky, like I’m suddenly trying to launch a spaceship just to move my photos over. Not a dealbreaker, but wow, it definitely interrupts the flow more than I expected.

"Good value for the price"
I’d say the pricing feels fair for what you get. It’s not a bad deal at all

"I had a small issue with my..."
I had a small issue with my account and reached out to support, and overall they were helpful. They actually got back to me sooner than I expected, which was a nice surprise.

The first reply was a little generic, but once I explained the problem in more detail, they looked into it properly and sent clear steps to fix it. After that, everything worked fine.
I’m giving 4 stars because the follow-up did take a bit longer than I would’ve liked, but they were polite and got it sorted in the end. I’d still recommend them, just with the note that you may need a little patience.

"Exports worked fine with my normal workflow"
I was a little worried about getting my edits back into Lightroom without messing anything up, but Aftershoot made it easy. The export options matched what I already do, and I didn’t run into any weird issues with the files or ratings. It saved me a good chunk of time after culling. Simple, and it just works for my setup.

"I really wanted Aftershoot to work for my..."
I really wanted Aftershoot to work for my paid projects because it’s helpful when it actually runs properly. But mine keeps freezing in the middle of culling, and a couple of times I lost progress, which is super frustrating. I tried updating it and giving it another chance, but the random crashes still happen. Support was decent enough, but reliability matters most for this kind of work. Kind of regret jumping in before reading more reviews first...

"Felt sorta limited for my edits"
I tried setting up my own style, but it sorta felt like I kept running into limits. There wasn’t as much customization as I expected, so the final choices didn’t really fit the way I like to work.

"Took me a minute, but now I’m hooked"
I’ll be honest, Aftershoot had me feeling like I’d suddenly forgotten how software works. The learning curve is definitely there, especially when it comes to trusting the culling and getting the settings right. But after a few tries, it started to click, and shockingly, letting the tool do its job actually saved me a ton of time. Funny how that works. Really happy with it now.

"The edits just didn’t feel right to me"
I tried Aftershoot on a few galleries because I was hoping it would speed things up, especially after a busy week of shoots and way too much time sitting at my desk. Unfortunately, the edits just looked off. The skin tones were kind of weird, the whites weren’t consistent, and I ended up going back through most of the photos myself anyway. It probably saved me a little bit of time here and there, but not enough to feel worth it. I still felt like I had to double-check every single image before sending anything out.
